Primary Function of Position: The Business Architecture organization is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the planning, specifications, and requirements for Business Systems including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). This includes partnering with IT on the development and implementation of various technologies in support of Business Systems. Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Operations Systems, the product manager will play an important role in maintaining and developing our PLM technologies and Center of Excellence.
The Senior Product Manager, Business Systems will work within a cross-functional team to document business use cases and user requirements for Business Systems such as our PLM system. This includes working with both technical and commercial teams as well as other software product owners, and IT. The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the product roadmap by scoping requirements from internal partners, relevant customer feedback, content use analytics, and industry research.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with stakeholders throughout the organization and will have experience with PLM. This individual will be able to understand the current complexities of the organization’s data systems and processes and how those processes work with various IT technical solutions.
This is a business focused role and not a solution (IT) role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders to align business priorities, maintain product vision and development roadmap, prioritize business objectives, and leverage a cross-functional team to develop business solutions for the enterprise.
- Partner with Business users and systems owners to establish business user requirements and business use cases for Product Lifecycle Management.
- Partner with IT development teams to develop acceptance criteria, assemble needed resources, support User Acceptance Testing, and document final approvals
- Engage with customers throughout the organization to inform continuous improvement of business systems
- Create and maintain a multiyear product roadmap that supports the business needs and strategic initiatives.
- Work directly with the IT platform development team and vendors as needed to execute and deliver on the product roadmap
- Coordinate teams to drive delivery on project objectives.
- Manage education and change management required to drive adoption of new master data management technologies
- Ensure the Product Lifecycle Management System complies with all global legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Business Owners, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to review and refine business process workflows including identifying areas of possible simplification.

QualificationsQualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Technology related fields required or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years in data management, systems management, or other technical management required.
- Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, diagnostics, or aerospace defense strongly preferred
- Experience using Product Lifecycle Management systems, especially Oracle Agile
- Proven ability to work on cross-functional teams and communicate with colleagues in both business and technical roles required
- Experience gathering and documenting business and customer requirements required
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to various technical, business stakeholder, and leadership audiences
- Ability to independently operate and lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
