About the Role We’re looking for a high-energy leader to oversee an inbound and outbound sales team. This team works exclusively with trade professionals in the home design and remodeling community, offering elevated service and accommodations to ensure these clients are satisfied. The ideal candidate is passionate about building sales and developing individual contributors. Position is open in both Irvine, CA and Nashville, TN, however Irvine, CA is the preferred location.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain a high performing sales management team across all Trade verticals (build & design), to meet quarterly and annual revenue and profitability goals
• Lead a team of Trade Account Managers and Trade Sales Representatives to provide exceptional customer service and exceed revenue and margin objectives
• Manage day to day operations of Trade Sales Managers and Trade Account Managers
• Provide actionable feedback and real time coaching to your team
• Provide meaningful suggestions to improve the Houzz Trade Program based on customer and employee feedback
• Work cross functionally with the e-commerce business leaders to execute process improvements and resolve customer escalations
• Participate in the hiring and training process as needed
• Identify performance trends address areas of opportunity
• Develop and maintain a high performing, energized, Trade Sales team
• Ensure a positive and professional work environment
• Perform additional leadership duties as requested or required to continue to grow the business

At A Minimum, We’d Like You to Have

• 2-5 years of sales management experience
• Experience managing 5 or more direct reports
• Recognized as an effective manager and influencer
• Experience delivering against sales targets
• Goal oriented, entrepreneurial self-starter
• Positive, energetic attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Excel, Google apps and features
• Superb communication skills, clear and concise in both written and verbal communication.

Ideally, You'll Also Have

• Experience working with home professionals such as interior designers and contractors or commercial businesses such as hotels, property managers, and real estate developers
• Experience managing and growing a book of business
• Bachelor’s Degree
