Your Role and Responsibilities
The Partner Business Analystat IBM Multicloud Management Platform (MCMP)will be responsible for managing two key areas of Partner Management for MCMP; 1. Manage Partner engagements across Engineering, Support Delivery and Product Management and 2. Facilitate Partner enablement allowing for an MCMP ecosystem of partners to integrate with the MCMP solution and maintain the ongoing solution. In order to manage these areas requires an understandingof the Multicloud Management Platform solution and value provided by the partners. As a Partner Business Analyst, you will driveongoing engagements to facilitate partnerships with IBM MCMP to; provide engagement structure for Engineering, Support and Product Management. You will identify areas of success or improvement opportunitiesin order to drive mutual success of the partnership. This will span a diverse set of engagements depending on the partnership from addendumsto existing IBM partnerships, to driving the business inputs to an end to end contract with a newpartner. In addition, this role will identify enablement deliverables necessary to establish and build a partner ecosystem which can enable a partner to integrate and maintain their MCMP integratedsolution. In this role you will...Establish and maintain an MCMP engagement model across all Partners inclusive of strategic integrations and ecosystem enablementWork with product development (Product Managers, Architects, Development engineers, and BU Leadership) to make sure partner needs are fully understood and that engagement model is successfulPerform and participate in Partner engagement business reviews on a regular cadence identifying areas of success,improvementand opportunities to collaboratively improve the integrated solutionWork with Partners to assist in beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and sampleswhere applicableCreate and Supportpresentations, demo scenarios, demo scripts,involving partner solutionsSupport Sales in new customer acquisitionwhere partnerships are leveraged
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+years of experience inSaaS/softwarePartner engagement anddevelopment2+ years of experience in softwareand Agile based ProductdevelopmentDemonstrated experiencemanaging partner relationships, programs, negotiating contracts, and ecosystem developmentCapable of presenting and demonstrating the value proposition of MCMP platform to existing and potential partners Able to evaluate partner business opportunities and represent partner requirements to Product Development team in the form of Agile based epics and requirement storiesFamiliaritywith cloud-based development, message-oriented development, n-tier applications, Software Development Kits (SDK), REST APIs, Open Service Broker APIFamiliaritywith public clouds or ITSM tools such as; Public clouds-AWS, Azure, IBM Cloudor similar systems and ITSM tools: ServiceNow, ICD or similar tools
