Job Description

The Senior Recruiting Operations Manager plays a critical role across the candidate journey to ensure an optimized candidate experience, and Recruiting team efficiency coupled to strong instrumentation and reporting through the pipeline. In addition, the role is responsible for the management and development of Recruiting Coordinators.

On a daily basis, you’ll operationally assess how candidates are moving through the recruiting pipeline and diagnose where people or process are causing unnecessary delays. Your strong understanding for process tied to Greenhouse will allow you to propose and make needed configuration changes to reduce process friction and improve recruiter, hiring manager and candidate experience. Your analytical skills will be put to use on a daily and weekly basis to build and sustain dashboards and reports that will forecast hiring rates, time to hire, fill and start metrics, along with diagnosis of particular roles that are difficult. You’ll develop tools for managers and recruiters, such as playbooks and how-to guides that put everyone on the same page.

Working with executives, hiring managers and Finance leads, you will effectively drive approved hiring planning that is approved and aligned to needs. Your strong facilitation and communication skills will help unblock issues before they start. Outside of the company, you and your coordinator team will manage the employee brand presence via social media platforms with a focus on improving our reviews, NPS and overall brand persona. You will support the Director of Recruiting by maintaining a portfolio of projects across these different areas that focus on scaling the company via quality recruiting. This includes projects, tooling, budgeting and proposals for the team and for other departments. What you’ll do:

  • Own creation and delivery of productivity dashboards that will closely measure and monitor all critical KPI’s to ensure the team is tracking in the right way to support the hiring demand from all stakeholders
  • Direct reporting and development of RCs
  • Streamline and align all scheduling processes across the org for efficiency
  • Onboard all new RCs and training documentation
  • Work with Head of Recruiting, Finance and Heads of Dept on Workforce Planning
  • Work with Head of Recruiting to overhaul Recruiting Handbook and Manager Playbook
  • Oversight and management of Greenhouse processes, permissions and templates
  • Facilitate and streamline processes between HR, Recruiting, Facilities and IT
  • Optimizing operational process flows

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years in Recruiting Operations roles with increased responsibility
  • Direct management experience with coordinators and entry level staff
  • Track record of developing talent and high potential individuals
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in the development of documents, guides, playbooks, executive summaries and presentations
  • Demonstrable technical skills in building dashboards, reports and insights from candidate journey pipelines
  • Recruiting data aficionado, adroit at developing insights, updating and curating data, and applying technical methods to sustain good data practices
  • Greenhouse ATS competence for configuration changes and updates and ability to guide integration with Namely and other platforms directly or with consulting teams
  • Great demeanor in building alliances and connections across the organization, at any level, contributing to our developing culture
