Position title: Quality Manager – Rubbermaid Commercial Products
Location: Hillgom, NL
Reports to: Sr. Manager – Quality EMEA
Contract type: Permanent, full-time
Job summaryAs a Quality Manager you will lead all quality activities within our manufacturing site in Hillegom, where we produce hygiene consumables for
Rubbermaid Commercial Products. Your focus will be on ensuring our products meet company quality standards and are compliant with governmental regulations. You will manage a team of 5 people in a fast-pace environment, in a site that is growing rapidly. You will work closely with site management team, Sr. Manager Quality EMEA and Quality team in US.
Key responsibilities: - Ensuring product compliance to applicable governmental regulations.
- Act as a main point of contact and leader for any external and internal audits.
- Driving an improvement in quality documentation as essential evidence of due diligence and the basis for proper business decisions specific to product quality, compliance and safety.
- Reviewing product specifications and test specifications.
- Responsible for the quality of raw materials and finished goods.
- Partnering with the EMEA Sourcing team to assess current and potential supplier quality systems, resolve supplier-related quality issues and ensure adequate supply of quality products are provided.
- Responsible for customer and supplier audits.
- Following up on audits and checks of materials, processes, products and their registration.
- Supervising Quality lab activities.
- Managing the Quality team to review customer complaints in a timely manner, including root causes analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Providing on demand training on quality to all employees on site
- Drive performance management, coach and develop the team members.
Minimum Qualifications:- University degree (preferably in a technical or engineering discipline) or equivalent
- 5 plus years of experience, including 3 years of leading a team
- Fluent in Dutch and English
Preferred Qualifications:- Solid experience in establishing quality programs and systems in a multinational company
- Good command of MS Excel and SAP (R/3, SAP APO, SAP BW/BEX reports)
- Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma or Thought Maps, or Process Maps, SPC, DOE, ISO/QS/TS standards, TQM, Lean Manufacturing, project management, etc.)
- Relevant experience in a government-regulated industry (e.g. food & drug)
- Results oriented with a passion for quality and consumer satisfaction
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment
- Certification (i.e. CQE, CRE, CQM, CQA, Black Belt, Green Belt) would be a plus
