We are looking for a self-motivated, team-oriented individual with great communication skills to join our Financial Systems organization with highly skilled IT professionals.
As a Business System Analyst you will provide daily operational support for administering the various company payroll and commission plans to ensure timely and accurate payment. You will also ensure the integrity of the data used for the payroll, commission and bonus processing and work to further streamline and improve the current processes within each calculation cycle. The BSA will also work with the management team to design and implement new programs to ensure that incentive compensation is aligned with evolving company business objectives.
YOU WILL:
- Design and maintain the systems implementations and automation supporting payroll and commission functions.
- Provide training, documentation, and support to Finance business users
- Partner with stakeholders from Finance, HR, IT, Sales, Operations, Product Management, Engineering teams to support a new plan, process or system
- Work closely with the Finance team to understand functional requirements and execute them through successful implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Manage projects end to end; ensure coverage of all facets of testing, and successful end-user experience.
- Manage security administration for Payroll and Commission systems.
- Translating business requirements and ensuring that automated solutions meet the needs of the business.
- Troubleshoot problems, test, and work with businesses to resolve issues.
- Responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring the ADP and Xactly product, and creating documentation as needed.
- Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts, and end-user representatives.
- Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met. Work closely with the project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end-user acceptance signoff.
- Provide guidance and training to Finance team members, managers, and employees on processes and tools, and the future capabilities of the product.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in various Commission Accounting processes and Payroll.
YOU HAVE:
- At least 10+ years of business systems analyst experience in a global organization
- At least 7+ years of professional experience supporting a Payroll/Commissions organization.
- Possess a good understanding of Payroll and Commission plan, accounting practices, and SOX compliance.
- Remain composed in a dynamic environment and communicate successfully to all levels of team members
- Experience with ADP and XACTLY is must.
- In addition to ADP and Xactly, previous experience with large scale ERP (Workday, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), SaaS applications (Salesforce, Adaptive Insights), and BI tools (Tableau, Talend) are preferable.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall or agile) a plus.
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related fields.
- Experience with global payroll with an emphasis on EMEA and APAC a plus
- Experience with writing reports
- Experience working with remote and distributed teams a plus
