What we're looking for:

As a Test Automation Engineer, you'll be working on testing software systems as well as tracking/maintaining quality within the systems that support our customers. You might already have some experience in designing test cases from formal business requirements but you'll also get to work on Micro-Service Based Architectures, as well as gain experience of Web/Cloud/SaaS platform development. In addition, you'll also get to work on CI/CD deployments, and associated infrastructure/toolsets: Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, Spinnaker etc.

Position Overview:

As a member of the Cloud Interoperability team, you will closely collaborate with product development teams to shape requirements in order to leverage best practices for automation. You will be responsible for providing a framework and tooling for automating critical use cases. In time you will also be responsible for providing a well-rounded automation solution that meets the requirements of Citrix Workspace on our cloud environment services.

Role responsibilities:

• Implementing and recommending automated tests using commercial-grade test tooling as outlined within our solution test strategy (such as Selenium, Appium, TestCafe, Robot).
• Recommending and making use of both web and mobile test tooling to ensure our products are meeting their business requirements.
• Gathering, publishing and governing solution quality data across the entire Citrix solution stack.
• Partnering with product development teams around solution quality in order to help define best practice along with promoting industry best practice around solution testing across the organisation.
• Opportunity to work with some of the latest cloud technologies such as Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Spinnaker etc. – and the opportunity to define which brand new technologies we use.

Basic Qualifications:

• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Ideally some experience in Automation Testing and development.
• Knowledge of Networking and systems.
