What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is actively searching for a Marketing Technologist. This position requires an expert in digital solutions and platforms and will be highly visible across the business. The qualified candidate will provide business-side leadership around our digital transformation efforts, playing a key role in defining our next generation of online marketing tools. We are seeking a driven, creative, and passionate individual to fill this key role on our Digital team.

• Research, trial, implement, manage and optimize marketing technologies to enable achievement of departmental and company-wide business objectives.
• Manage the marketing technology stack including selecting solutions, integrating them into existing systems and processes, and providing support for their use by cross-functional teams.
• Translate business vision into systems strategies by driving the architecture, design, and implementation of our next-generation digital environment including platform enhancements and marketing solutions.
• Lead solution evaluations with appropriate stakeholders to define business requirements and influence technical specifications to ensure tools and systems effectively enable marketing operations.
• Pursue the most innovative and cost-effective online solutions (mobile, social, web, commerce, etc.) to meet business needs.
• Hand-off new capabilities and marketing touchpoint technology to ensure successful mainstreaming and optimization for marketing performance.
• Develop strong internal relationships with all levels of management to promote digital solutions

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience designing large-scale digital architectures including.gathering.requirements and working across matrix organizations to deliver results.

Even better if you have:

• Experience with enterprise software platforms such as Adobe, Lucidworks, Pega, ATG, Endeca, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of emerging digital concepts and trends with the ability to translate that knowledge into actionable recommendations.
• Expert in various content management systems, digital platforms, online solutions, and middle-ware applications with a desire to maintain technical expertise and hands-on experience with cutting edge technologies.
• Demonstrated team player with the ability to coordinate multiple projects within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Experience partnering across multiple business, engineering, and product teams.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions including Experience Manager, Target, Audience Manager, Campaign, Launch, and Analytics.
• Experience with multi-lingual site implementation.
• Deep background on native app technologies and integrations to enable web/app interoperability.
• Experience working in an agile / scrum development environment within a large organization.
• Knowledge of CX and design-first methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel.
