As a BI consultant, you will be part of the Professional Services for eFront North America. As a new member of the BlackRock family, eFront is on a path of exciting growth and development. The team is committed to increasing BlackRock’s exposure to Alternative Investments and providing new standards for Alternative Investments system implementation. Your role and impact

You will play a key role in the success of our team and business. Working across projects and teams, you will lead report writing services to a range of system implementation projects. The role will give you the chance to work on our most challenging and exciting eFront projects, gaining both valuable experience and exposure within the company. Via your deliveries, you will help your clients in their daily usage of the eFront platform, providing high-performance reports to track their pipeline, define their investments and follow their portfolios. eFront stands out as a real career catalyst: we are at the crossroads between software and the thriving businesses of Alternative Investments!

Your responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients, consultants and IT teams to gather and assist in defining detailed requirements and functional specifications for reporting aspects of implementation projects
  • Design, develop and deliver functional reports using SQL, SAS based language, and eFront reporting tools
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of delivery in order to ensure all work meets prescribed standards in design and quality.
  • Document all work to a high professional standard
  • Support other team members

You have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (ie. Computer Science, Computer Engineering)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mind
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and also collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to work with cross-functional counterparts
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Keen interest or experience in the Private Equity sector
