Job Description
Our Growth Mindset (The Mission): Think back on your time in school and a project or experience that got you fired up, curious, and motivated to try your best. Can you remember one? If you’re like us, there are some projects we remember decades later -- those times when we were so engaged in what we were doing that we couldn’t help but learn. Seesaw is a learning platform that brings educators, students and families together to deepen student learning. Teachers design and facilitate powerful learning experiences, students create, reflect, collaborate and make their learning visible, and families actively support and celebrate student learning. Seesaw is used by millions of K-12 students in over half the schools in the U.S.
The Curriculum (Your Role): As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational strategy and execution of all marketing campaigns to prospective and current customers, focusing principally on current customers to start. You will own our marketing tech stack: setting up integrations between automation tools, designing efficient processes, and helping teammates to troubleshoot when needed. You will also own marketing analytics, making sure we learn the quantitative lessons of marketing to customers at scale and drive improvements based on those learnings across the organization.
Your Classmates (The Team): You’ll join our Revenue team working closely with our Product Marketing Manager and reporting to the Revenue Team’s Head of Strategic Initiatives. You’ll have lots of opportunities to collaborate with the Customer Success and Content teams, as we work together to deliver content that adds value for our customers.
Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):
- Contribute to customer retention/expansion strategy and execute email campaigns to grow paid users activation and engagement with administrators
- Experiment and implement new methods of improving customer activation, retention, and expansion to grow the number of students we serve
- Leverage marketing automation and analytics tools to improve and measure the impact of customer success campaigns
- Design and monitor A/B tests to continuously iterate and improve efforts to maximize results

Prerequisites (The Requirements):
- 3+ years working in a customer success, sales operations, or marketing role
- Experience working with sales and marketing automation tools like Outreach, Gainsight, Autopilot, HubSpot Marketo, Totango, etc.
- Working knowledge of how to pull and manipulate Salesforce data to build accurate email lists
- Comfortable with (and delighted by) working with data to get meaningful insights
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Passion for education and a strong desire to use your skills to impact students
Extracurriculars (Bonus Points):
- Experience building dashboards in a BI tool like Tableau, Looker or Power BI
