Business Systems Analyst in

Work you’ll do Serve as a Business Systems Analyst for a large, complex Department of Defense project. The project will include a various workstreams related to Program Management, Governance, Business/Functional Capabilities documentation and review; Process Flow development, data mapping, data migration, testing, training, stakeholder management, change management, and system infrastructure and hosting. Responsibilities include:
• Organizing and facilitating meetings with clients and team members
• Establishing agendas for meetings; documenting and publishing meeting minutes and action items
• Developing ad hoc briefings, charts, data visualizations, meeting materials, etc.
• Facilitating client workshops to document “as is” and “to be” business processes in order to identify changes
• Gathering functional and technical business capabilities from the key stakeholders by using techniques like brainstorming, requirement workshops, focus groups, and others.
• Assessing audience-specific impacts to financial business process, systems, knowledge, capabilities, behaviors, and culture
• Categorizing business capabilities as functional (contains the features required by the end-users), non-functional (requirements for the performance and usability of the project) operational (operations that are carried out in the background) and technical and accordingly segregate them in different types of documents.
• Creating functional specifications and prepare wireframes/flowcharts
• Performing gap analysis and recommending solutions
• Identifying and proposing viable technology solutions to meet client needs
• Generating interface designs, prototypes, data flow diagrams and data system models
• Creating test plans, test scripts, and use cases
Qualifications Required: Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance (TS/SCI is preferred)
- Full life cycle implementation experience in Oracle Financial modules
- Familiarity with Oracle suggested standards and approach for delivering EBS work products
- Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of technology consulting or relevant industry experience
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
