The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for managing and growing the Postmates brand by telling the Postmates story at scale in engaging and innovative ways. We’re looking for a world class marketer to continue building the Postmates brand by developing industry-leading integrated marketing campaigns that connect with consumers in new and exciting ways. Our imprint in culture spans across music, entertainment, gaming and sports. We have become a verb in pop culture and continually strive to strengthen our position as a culturally relevant brand.

You have an owner/operator mentality, this role requires someone who lives at the forefront of product innovation. You will collaborate closely with product development leads to gain product knowledge and expertise. You will have a specific focus on concepting, shaping, building and executing our marketing campaigns that educate users about new and existing Postmates products and product features, like Postmates Unlimited, our premium membership program. You will also have a proven track record of using consumer insights and data to build and optimize campaigns to drive user adoption, engagement and retention; and to inform product development teams of potential product improvements.

You are an idea machine. You love building concepts, shaping and pitching them, and collaborating with the cross-functional team to bring them to life. You have experience in presenting to various stakeholders, including key executives, to garner support for your ideas, and shape the rationale for why they will deliver on our ambitious goals.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with the Sr Director of Product and Partnerships and product leads to scope product objectives, features and strategies.
  • Ideates innovative and engaging marketing campaigns and activations to support product adoption and full-funnel metrics.
  • Develops monthly marketing calendar for all ongoing launches, product tests, promotions and comms.
  • Coordinates with the Creative and Growths team to execute against campaign concepts across all marketing channels including email, push, text, in-app, off-platform, etc.
  • Establishes product expertise to support additional cross-functional opportunities across the organization.
  • Monitors product and campaign KPIs and continues to optimize performance.
  • Coordinates with analysts to identify new customer targets and review campaign performance.
  • Schedules and organizes all relevant project kick offs.
  • Writes project briefs/spec docs and gathers inputs/feedback from relevant stakeholders.
  • Builds and maintains project timelines.
  • Oversees project review sessions and gathers/implements feedback; and secures approvals.
  • Identify and implement continuous process and project improvements.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years experience in hands-on product marketing programs in a direct to consumer business.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute differentiated marketing programs across owned and paid channels with strong case studies and examples.
  • Comfort in technical conversations with strong analytical and data-driven decision making experience.
  • Familiarity with data / analysis tools (ability to work with user data and metrics to evaluate and run such programs).
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, and is agile, nimble and reactive to new developments and opportunities.
  • Must be a self-starter that works well with ambiguous concepts and is a creative problem-solver.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across both technical and creative applications.
  • Effective at building strong cross functional relationships that rally teams together around major brand initiatives.
  • HIGH degree of comfort and experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
