Global Procurement Manager IT at MediaMonks NL

Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement Manager IT to join our Hilversum office in The Netherlands. In this role you will be globally responsible for the procurement of mainly software and hardware for all our Monks, offices, and workstations.

Role & Responsibilities

• As our dedicated Procurement Monk, you will set up and implement the sourcing strategy for hardware and software at MediaMonks
• Your foremost responsibility is to buy all the things necessary to keep our Monks and machines running so that your 2600+ colleagues across 34 international offices can effectively work together on award-winning projects
• You’re in charge of our running license agreements, making sure we’re compliant and renew our licenses in a timely manner
• You close short and long-term deals with SaaS and hardware companies for all of our offices
• You’re also responsible for asset management, making sure all of our stuff is properly registered (instead of registered as “stuff”)
• You make sure we have all the cables, power adapters and accessories one could wish for at hand by maintaining our repository
• Occasionally, you’ll be asked to support on other categories as well, like real-estate, facilities and travel

• You have 8+ years of experience in a similar role
• You’re fluent in English
• You’re a tough and nice negotiator, getting the best deal for any contract
• You can effectively work together with different teams and stakeholders, including the business, IT & Support, Finance, Legal, Facility and Operations
• You work independently and always think along so that Monks have everything they need, even if they didn’t ask for it
• Proven track record working in an international global environment
• You have a commercial mindset and know enough about software and hardware to not get fooled
• Ideally, you have hands-on experience with (software) license agreements and/or asset management
• You are eager to embrace and lead change
• Ideally, you have a NEVI diploma or similar (purchasing) certificate (like CIPS)
