Introduction
Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Distinguished Engineer and CTO, IBM Corporation, Columbus, OH: Set technical strategy for Cloud based Asset Development leveraging exponential technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, internet of things, 5G/EDGE computing and blockchain. Operationalize technical strategies through targeted initiatives and ensure they address stated business objectives. Define technical standards, prescriptive guidance and architectures pertaining to assets to ensure they are in alignment with defined technical platforms, capabilities from other parts of the company. Oversee progression of such initiatives to ensure their successful completion and compliance with defined standards and guidelines. Lead specific initiatives as needed. Drive thought leadership in specified exponential technology areas and their application in creating differentiated Cloud-based assets. Guide large global team of architects and full stack developers in the development of these assets. Engage directly in client projects to lead technical solutioning and architecture of complex technology solutions leveraging assets, specified exponential technologies and deployed on cloud. Utilize IBM Cloud platform, IBM Watson AI, and IBM Advanced Analytics, IBM WebSphere and BPM Suite (including BPM, ODM, APP server) and IBM Infosphere Suite (including BiginSight, DB2). Required: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Management or related and eight (8) years of experience as a Senior or Executive Technical Architect or related. Eight (8) years of experience must include utilizing IBM Cloud platform, IBM Watson AI, and IBM Advanced Analytics, IBM WebSphere & BPM Suite (including BPM, ODM, APP Server) and IBM Infosphere Suite (including BiginSight, DB2).
