The Role

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of SaaS sales experience to join our LeafLink Insights sales team. This role requires comfort and proficiency in speaking to the power of large data sets and the decisions they can drive for companies large and small. This position is for self-starters and entrepreneurial-minded individuals who possess exceptional follow-through. You are a good fit for this position if you are a goal-oriented overachiever, inherently positive and direct individual willing to explore new paths that require rapid-learning. We expect everyone at LeafLink to be humble and get his or her hands dirty in day-to-day tasks. This role will require a high degree of collaboration with all teams at LeafLink including Data, Product, Client Experience, SaaS sales, LeafLink Financial and LeafLink Logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales, aggressively expand the customer base and generate new revenue for the LeafLink Insights team
  • Develop and implement a scalable sales process from prospecting/demand generation through contract execution
  • Lead in-person client presentations to C-level executives, including information discovery sessions, product demonstrations and proposals
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive deal flow, manage a healthy pipeline, and understand holistic client needs across LeafLink’s customer journey
  • Collaborate with Data and Product teams to report feedback from clients, remove blockers to sales, and improve existing products
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships virtually
  • Leverage our CRM to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet your revenue targets and company goals

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the software industry selling a SaaS platform, B2B software, data or market research product, or other technology product
  • You have carried a quota for at least 2 years
  • You have experience with Salesforce
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a strong listening skills and are able to pivot a conversation quickly to solutions
  • You have a bias to action and problem-solving
  • You have significant experience presenting to a range of functional teams, levels, and personalities
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced startup, and excitement about a rapidly changing industry
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Prior coursework in statistics, economics, mathematics, or related fields
  • Bonus: Experience structuring or participating in partnerships conversations in the data industry
