Job Summary:

We currently have an outstanding opportunity of Solution Architect - PCRF (Policy Control - Lead System Integrator) to join us in Singapore!

The role required to have hands-on integration & deployment experience with in-depth expertise into the lowest level of design, node installation, configurations (both business configuration and system/network configuration), and O&M

You will

  • Will be the technical lead engineer interacting with customer and project team for this domain.
  • Owner & responsible for customer solution low level design & hands-on deployment of Policy Control nodes (PCRF and PCF).
  • Technical lead engineer for policy nodes in charge for all project engagement and system integration where the policy nodes are involved
  • Technical interfacing with customer for deployment, integration, User Acceptance testing & cutover to live, followed by support
  • Responsible for technical delivery towards a customer project from his/her team members
  • Responsible for dependencies which arise when having a compound system view
  • Collaborate with Solution Area in case of any issues

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Education: Degree in BSC Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years Telecom Experience in hands on System integration & deployment and including at least 3 years in a customer facing role.
  • Should have good understanding of the Ericsson/other vendor Policy Control domain (PCRF and PCF such as SAPC, CCPC).
  • Additional knowledge & expertise of Ericsson/other vendor Packet Core and 5G Core nodes (PGW, SGW, SMF, AMF such as EPG, MME, PCC, and NRF such as CCRC) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of 3G, 4G and 5G Technologies and call flows and 3GPP standards
  • Knowledge & expertise in deploying virtualized network functions (VNF’s) and containerized network functions (CNF’s) related to policy nodes on the different kinds of cloud infrastructure and handling their lifecycle management use cases.
  • Knowledge & expertise of Policy Control use case, Policy Subscription interfacing to Charging System or UDR, and Policy Control interfacing to Signaling Controller (DRA, BSF).
  • Network integration and troubleshooting experience in the above environments
  • Additional knowledge & expertise on Automation tools (Eg - Ericsson Automated Acceptance Tests), linux scripting and Load Test tools (jMeter) is an advantage
  • Strong experience in problem solving and engaging with customers as needed.
