Culture, Belonging, & Diversity Team | Santa Clara CA

This is a brand-new role in our Culture, Belonging, & Diversity team based in our Santa Clara HQ. We are up-leveling our recruiting strategy to find amazing diverse talent for our organization. You will get to work closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to develop and execute strategies to locate and attract candidates to Chegg.
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter who understands and uses the latest technology and has a strong ability to build a diverse pipeline of underrepresented talent for both technical and non-technical roles (Engineering, Data Sciences to Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Legal, Project Management, etc.).

The ideal candidate will have experience executing a sourcing outreach plan, building a pipeline development strategy, and managing stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities

• Develop a scalable diversity recruiting strategy for talent across both technical and non-technical teams
• Own full-cycle recruiting process
• Define, design, and execute sourcing strategies that result in quality submittals as well as hires.
• Ability to work fluidly between the Culture, Belonging, & Diversity and Talent Acquisition teams
• Partner with C-level executives and senior leadership to provide strategic guidance and advice around diversity recruiting strategies
• Proactively build underrepresented talent pipelines through referral generation, online sourcing, events, and sourcing campaigns
• Consistently maintain and track pipeline activity to share with Hiring Managers and Recruiters
• Recommend creative and results-oriented ideas to cultivate a diverse pipeline
• Ability to deliver results with little supervision, and to effectively manage multiple projects and candidates
• Strategize and engage diversity partnerships and activities that result in brand awareness regarding opportunities and careers at Chegg
• Conduct market research to understand where diverse talent pools exist and explore initiatives to tap into those talent pools
• Highly organized, adaptable and can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Partner with leadership to develop short- and long-term recruiting objectives and strategies to attract and hire diverse talent
• Tracks and monitors analytics throughout the complete recruiting cycle to analyze and leverage data for the identification of trends and the adjustment of strategies/activities to improve results.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years full cycle recruitment experience with an agency or in-house recruiting team OR equivalent training or work experience
• 3+ Years of diversity sourcing/recruitment experience
• An understanding of the opportunities and challenges in building a diverse talent pool/pipeline and the tenacity to overcome obstacles and challenges
• Experience developing and partnering with professional diversity organizations and networks
• Proven ability to partner with executive and senior leadership to inform and guide the direction of inclusive recruitment for short and long term success
• Deep knowledge and expertise in sourcing for passive candidates using LinkedIn, job-boards, CV
• Experience using data and metrics to advise partners and make recommendations
• Technical industry knowledge and general comprehension of relevant technical skills, relevant companies, engineering communities, and other technical resources
• Strong communication skills and team play: You understand how to keep stakeholders appraised without prompting and adapt your style to a technical engineer vs. a VP.
• ATS experience (Jobvite is a plus)
• Sourcing Tools experience (LinkedIn Recruiter, Entelo, Hiring.com, HiringSolved, StackOverflow, Github, Prophet, Lusha, is a plus)
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; including Excel and PowerPoint
• Your approach to work includes a positive attitude, a high degree of ownership, and a focus on results.
