BMAS IT Managed Services operates a tools program called Management of IT Operations (MITO). MITO is an open source tools framework which allows our MS operations teams to deliver their services rapidly and efficiently. The focus of the tools is the management of IT domains, including Ericsson DBSS and Cloud domains, applications, infrastructure and third-party IT systems.

We are now looking for Solution Architect in delivery team. This job role is responsible for supporting any of our global customers end to end (Pre-Sales through Acceptance). SA is technical responsible for OSS Service Assurance solution design and execution on client engagements, managing one or more MITO delivery projects, developing, coordinating and delivering all aspects of customer needs as per required scope and blueprint

You will,

Support the following systems and functions:

  • To work with MS IT Delivery operations team, CU and MA teams to understand the requirements around monitoring, service management, automation, MS ways of working, contractual SLAs, Access/connectivity requirements, etc and define the tools solution covering these requirements.
  • The Solution Architect’s main tasks are to define the solution, design and lead the team for implement, configure, integrate, test and deploy.
  • Analyze the requirements, Design the solution and deliver the quality OSS solutions enabling efficient end user monitoring, trouble shooting and fault restoration for IT service assurance
  • Other tasks are to participate in pre-studies, product selections, and setting system requirements on Ericsson developed and sourced products to secure the quality of and simplify the integration.
  • Providing advanced technical support and advice to others on engagement/program during pre-study, solution design and implementation.
  • Participate in customer projects, handling scope, risks, changes and customer expectations
  • Define, manage and verify solutions in customer projects, including handling and management of thirdparty products and suppliers.
  • Leading team members, third parties, and technological counterparts in client organizations in the integration of technological methodologies and components of projects.
  • Ensuring and being accountable for the technical integrity of the design, in accordance with the clients' requirements.
  • Developing and assisting in the development of rapid prototyping demonstrations.
  • Managing day-to-day technical program or segment activities, including relationships with the client, managing and reviewing assigned consulting staff.
  • Developing and delivering client and internal technical presentations.
  • Identify and promote new business opportunities
  • Contribute to Organizational initiatives & activities like Proof of Concepts, Training, Technical interviews

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in multi-vendor / multi-technology / multi-customer integration to NMS/OSS for IT service assurance and
  • Should be able to customize the Service Assurance solution based upon the customer requirements and provide the solutions.
  • Familiarity with alarm correlation scenarios, root cause analysis, automation and self-healing.
  • Experience with SNMP, Corba, JMS, ASCII, Webservices, etc.
  • Good Understanding and experience of Agile delivery model.
  • Experience in Zabbix, ELK, Grafana, CMDB or equivalent tools.
  • Expertize in python/perl/shell scripting, Java, Javascripting, CSS, HTML, XML and Database.
  • Knowledge of Open Source ike WildFly, Apache Camel, Drools, Jenkins, Docker
  • MySQL knowledge and experience would be an advantage
  • Should be able to support presales activities including pre-studies and high-level solutions
  • Mentor and groom Solution Integrator/New Joinees so that they could implement projects independently with little handholding
  • Knowledge in automation utilities like Selenium, Enable, UIPath and BluePrism would be an advantage
  • Documentation - document the implemented solution and support the customer with the needed competence development to be able to use the solutions
  • Negotiation Skills and good cultural awareness.
  • ITIL knowledge and Managed Services projects experience is strong plus
  • National/International travel readiness on short term basis (few weeks during projects phases)

Key Qualifications:

Education: academic degree minimum on bachelor level within relevant area, engineering (IT, telecom

Minimum years of relevant experience: 7 - 9 years of Telecom/IT experience in design, implementation and deployment of IT service assurance systems or NMS/OSS – fault, performance, and reporting solutions
