Sr. Manager of Business Operations

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join the Shutterstock Platform Solutions team. This team builds and grows strategic relationships with high-value technology companies, enabling access to Shutterstock content directly within external applications. Through the Shutterstock API, we power integrations with companies such as Facebook, Google, and Microsoft.

As a Senior Manager on the Platform Solutions team, you will build our APAC strategy and lead new partnership efforts for the API program. You will source and prioritize the most impactful partnership opportunities and drive deals from initial conversation to partnership launch.

Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new leads, scheduling and leading initial discovery calls, and building out business models to meet our partnership goals.

Responsibilities :

• Manage local market operations and address potential issues when they arise
• Build and run operation processes to meet our business objectives and ensure compliance
• Improve efficiency of all business procedures with local partner in China
• Coordinate with local partner Sales, Operations, Marketing, and BizDev teams to understand pain points and optimize output
• Track and report on business performance and forecast future revenues
• Become a subject matter expert on Shutterstock products and capabilities as well as local partner products and capabilities
• Synthesize feedback from both Shutterstock and local partner, and recommend initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience or 3+ years with MBA or Master’s degree
• Experience leading strategy/operations projects at a leading consulting firm or in a corporate operations team in APAC. Strong commercial and business acumen
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Highly motivated, organized and independent in solving business challenges
• Hands-on mentality and love going into details in an analytical and structured way
• Demonstrated interest in media and/or technology
• Business proficiency with English and native/fluent in Mandarin
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally (25% of the time)
