Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Retail Business Development on Criteo’s Retail Media Platform. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of both advertising technology and the retail landscape. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced media and technology professional to join the world’s leading performance display advertising company. This individual will be asked to use their analytical skills and sales ingenuity to structure creative commercial deals with new retailers, provide strategic projections for growing retailer’s monetization offering via a multi-product platform, and interact with senior executives at some of the e-commerce world’s leading companies. This role involves prospecting, pitching, and closing deals with a targeted list of e-commerce retailers, building relationships with prospects that help you gain trust from executive decision makers, pitching the continued benefits of Criteo as a monetization partner, and leveraging data to negotiate complex, large-scale commercial agreements and partnerships.

What will you be doing?

    • Present and evangelize the Criteo Retail Media Platform value proposition
    • Prospect, penetrate and create new commercial relationships with leading retail e-commerce players in North America
    • Solution sell Criteo Retail Media offerings by honing in on client needs / challenges and industry trends within onsite and offsite monetization
    • Lead contractual and integration discussions with the client’s commercial, technical and legal teams
    • Spearhead the development of and dialogue around complex, custom solutions for clients with assistance from Technical Solutions, Analytics and Product teams
    • Partner with a broad range of internal teams (marketing, legal, brand sales, products, B&D, technical Solutions) to support sales efforts
    • Hit quarterly and annual activation and growth targets
    • Develop and manage a team of Business Development reps
    • Persevere, think big picture work for mutually beneficial technology integration
    • Play an ongoing role as a builder of the Criteo brand and community

What do we NEED?

    • Up to 10 years digital media experience, ideally highly familiar with online performance business, ad tech, and/or e-commerce
    • Proven track record of driving new business and prior sales experience selling a similar platform technology
    • Strong negotiation, influencing skills and an ability to persuade at all levels of an organization
    • Passionate about new media and how Criteo can define new boundaries in the online advertising industry
    • Understand the local and international media landscape and Criteo’s position in it
    • Demonstrable knowledge of the online advertising industry and retail environment
    • Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic small team environment
    • Ability to work in a fast-moving company and industry
    • Minimum of two years people management experience
    • A team player with an entrepreneurial attitude and strong will to succeed
