Relationship Manager Coach (COAF Sales) Vienna , VA

Do you enjoy mentoring and coaching others while at the same time being responsible for your own key accounts? If so, you will likely be very interested in becoming a Relationship Manager Coach. (RM Coach)

The RM Coach role provides the opportunity for personal ownership of 40-60 dealer relationships. In addition, the RM Coach provides training and guidance to a team of Relationship Managers. This is the ultimate player-coach position.

As the primary owner of a defined set of dealers, you will be responsible for establishing and growing strong dealer relationships through the mechanism of exceptional service and strategic interaction. As coach and mentor to the team of Relationship Managers, you will assist the Senior Relationship Manager in ensuring that the team is well-managed, well trained, and motivated for success.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate stellar relationships with our dealerships.
  • Optimize communication skills by creating strategic deals and goals with dealerships over the phone.
  • Review the structure in underwriting for COAF
  • Guide the deals in house for funding.
  • Analyze territory production goals.
  • Help influence the team’s recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and development of associate talent.
  • Guide employee’s success using a framework that encourages employee contribution, feedback, and growth.
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and cohesion aligning with Capital One’s open culture and the appreciation of diversity of people and thought.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in Financial Services or at least 1 year of Business to Business Sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Retail automotive business
  • At least 2 years of experience in Credit Underwriting
  • At least 2 years of experience in Sales and Marketing
