We are looking for a Technical Learning and Development Program Manager to build and implement strategic learning and development initiatives across the Engineering organization. You will design, manage, execute and iterate programs to enhance the performance and effectiveness of our technical Snoos (employees).

Key Focuses and Responsibilities:
- Own the strategy and execution of a new Learning & Development Program for the Engineering Teams
- Help us build a L&D culture that will scale with our growing engineering team
- Partner with engineering leaders at all levels, to understand learning & development needs and help create solutions through programming
- Implement learning programs using multiple forms (classroom, e-learning, employee created learning, training programs, cross-functional job shadowing etc) that enable our employees and team to be more effective in their roles
- Create and continuously improve effective and creative learning programs
- Develop, track and report metrics to measure learning success and overall impact
Key deliverables:
- Build out a bank of live and recorded lectures:
- On our technology stack
- On how to build and develop on different platforms (iOS, android, web, etc.)
- On management practices and responsibilities (such as how to drive mentorship)
- Responsible for sourcing content from, as well as organizing and scheduling internal and external speakers
- Build out a full “curriculum” once we have a foundation of lectures and courses
- Extend our existing “ GAINS ” (Grow And Improve New Skills) program to include cross functional training, using the bank of live and recorded lectures above, together with mentorship.
- Define how to measure impact of the above work
What We Can Expect From You:
- 3+ years of experience in a Learning & Development role at a rapidly scaling company
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Experience working with engineering teams to develop curriculum
- A team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- Pragmatic; you take an iterative approach to creating new programs
- High level of Business acumen
- Proactive and curious by nature. You are creative and enjoy taking unique approaches to solve problems
- Ability to navigate confidential information with professional maturity
