Job Description
Position title: Sales Manager – Rubbermaid Commercial Products
Location: BeNeLux region (home office)
Reports to: Senior Sales Manager
Contract type: Permanent, full-time
Job summaryAs a Sales Manager you will be responsible for delivering the annual sales targets for
Rubbermaid Commercial Products in the BeNeLux region, working closely with Trade Marketing in developing plans, budgets and marketing activities. Running the day to day business, you will also identify new business opportunities and execute promotional activities within the assigned area and accounts that enable Newell Brands to achieve best in class results. You will work independently and develop relationships with both - key end users and distributors.
Key responsibilities: - Prepare and execute annual budgets and operating plans for the area and key distributors
- Prepare and execute promotional sales activities and campaigns, including new product launches
- Execute sales visits/calls to existing and potential customers in order to maximize sales growth
- Ensure proper reporting of sales activities
- Participate in trade shows
- Train key distributor staff on product features and benefits
- Drive end user conversions from competition into Rubbermaid Commercial Products
- Expand and keep up-to-date list of prospective end users using SalesForce
- Develop competitive market intelligence to share with marketing teams
Minimum Qualifications:- 5+ years of sales experience in similar positions/industry (hygiene, skin care, work safety (PPE), cleaning, consumables in washroom) working with key accounts (preferably distributors)
- Fluent in French & Flemish + good command of English
- Good command of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Flexible working hours; average 50% travel required
Preferred Qualifications:- Result driven with demonstrated performance in sales and promotions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective negotiator
- Able to build and maintain relationships
- Strong analytical skills - able to effectively forecast turnover and demand by product
