In this role, you should expect to:

  • Oversee and manage the design and administration of Poshmark’s benefits, compensation, insurance and leave programs to ensure they are managed in full compliance
  • Lead all aspects of the HRIS that may include evaluation and implementation of other systems, optimization of HRIS workflows
  • Build strong partnerships with the HRBP, Talent, Payroll, Finance and Accounting teams as well as our 3rd party vendors
  • Communicates and collaborates with key partners stated above, facilitating successful change and project management
  • Ensure fiduciary responsibilities are being met and establishing new processes or programs
  • Establish and strengthen HR protocols, procedures and policies to maintain compliance and
  • Own vendor relationships and performance to maximize ROI within the partnership
  • Conduct audits in partnership with the Finance and Accounting teams as well as outside vendors
  • Provide reports and analysis to leadership and People Ops team members to inform and guide decision-making
  • Inform and educate employees on programs to ensure understanding of program offerings.
  • Directly manage, mentor and develop our HR Generalist and partnering together to evangelize great rewards programs
  • Process employee transactions and look for ways to streamline data and information processing throughout the employee lifecycle

6-Month Accomplishments:

  • Build strong relationships with key partners within the Payroll, Finance, Accounting and Office teams as well as within your department with the People Ops team
  • Have a firm understanding of Poshmark’s culture and values as well as HR practices, programs and procedures especially within the benefits, compensation and HR information systems
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor managing employee relations matters effectively
  • Formally create a fiduciary committee reviewing the design and plan documentation of our benefits, insurance, 401(k) plans, and compensation
  • Create exciting programs and events to evangelize total rewards at Poshmark

12+ Month Accomplishments:

  • Lead a strategic company-wide initiatives to support organizational development
  • Innovate our benefits and perks programs in alignment with both business and people goals including the restructuring of our Personal Time Off
  • Build the systems and benefits programs to allow the option to employ out-of-state employees within the US
  • Contribute to Poshmark’s international expansion strategy working with PEOs in different countries
  • Partner with the Payroll and Finance team to ensure seamless delivery and design of compliant processes across all work streams establishing thorough checks and balances

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience within benefits, compensation, or HRIS (ie: ADP)
  • Proven ability to evaluate, design, recommend, and implement benefits and insurance programs based on market assessment and business strategy
  • Inherent motivation to service people with empathy, optimism and investment in the employee experience
  • Strong HR acumen, state and federal laws, fiduciary responsibilities and understanding of compliance
  • Strong project management skills and execution including budget management, building reports in Excel/Google Sheets, and diligent attention to detail
  • Familiarity with base pay, variable pay, equity compensation programs, and compensation surveys
  • Ability to synthesize multiple points of feedback and perspective to adapt approach in operational excellence
  • Experience with vendor management, audits and invoice reconciliation
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized, analytical and self-disciplined with a roll-with-the-punches mentality
  • Experience and thrives in working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
  • Exercises good judgment on when to be flexible or firm in response to changing needs

You would have a competitive advantage if you...

  • Have experience as a compensation analyst, leading compensation programs or designing compensation architectures
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline or PHR/SPHR certification
