Associate, Wire Operations

Commercial Operations (CML Ops) is one of the largest divisions in the commercial bank. This team’s scope is horizontal across the bank and as such it supports numerous critical processes and transactions. By incubating innovative solutions and embracing technology, this team creates an unforgettable and unparalleled experience for our associates and clients. One of the most impactful groups in the CML Ops team is the Enterprise Payments and Treasury Operations (EPTO) team. The EPTO team manages all of the inbound and outbound payments for the commercial bank. Our work can range processing Wires to ACH to disbursements as well as transactions for our clients’ treasury products. The team is currently growing and searching for an Associate, Enterprise Wire Operations.

Job Description & Ideal Candidate:

An ideal candidate for this role is expected to execute activities in a fast-paced, multi-function, multi-operation team, tasked with delivering an exceptional end-to-end payments experience for our customers. This role includes the timely and accurate execution of the domestic and international wire requests. This individual’s responsibilities will include:

• ***Must be available to work shifts between 6 a.m. - 7:30 p.m
• Reviews and processes incoming/outgoing wire requests
• Researches and resolves a wide variety of issues and queries using independent judgment with little or no assistance
• Inputs data changes on a wide variety of accounts
• Able to identify issues and risks associated with transactions and escalate appropriately
• Able to make effective independent decisions, when necessary
• Works with management to identify process improvements
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly within and across the value stream
• Contacts internal customers for wire authorizations
• Investigates and resolves customer issues with little or no assistance
• Workflow management
• Cross training on different wire functions
• Able to perform all business functions related to wires process including ‘start of day’ and ‘end of day’ tasks
• Influences positive behaviors and integrative thinking

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of banking experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
• At least 1 year of banking experience in a payment services role
• At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
