Role Overview We are seeking a Transaction Processor to join our team in Lakeview. This position primarily involves assisting in the day to day operations of a real estate brokerage with a focus on processing applications and electronic paperwork for rental properties in Chicago's Near North & Near West neighborhoods (Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Wicker Park, River North etc,). We are looking for a smart, sharp, energetic person to be the backbone of our ever-growing office. While the hours may vary on a weekly basis, it is expected that on average the hours will be 8 - 16 hrs per week, with the potential to grow into a full time position. Weekend availability is a must. This role is expected to work out of our Lakeview office. We are currently working a modified office schedule, so for the time being, some hours can be worked remotely.
What You'll Be Doing
- Complete the application process and closeout
- Write leases
- Communicate with landlords, clients, and agents regarding deals in process
- Assist the supervisor and owners of the company in various tasks, as needed
- Professionally and efficiently deal with issues and conflicts by gathering information to pass along to the supervisor for resolution and/or resolve the situation independently
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 Years application processing experience
- Previous real estate experience is preferred
- Proficiency with DocuSign
- A "do whatever it takes" attitude while possessing a strong work ethic
- Works well independently and also as part of a team
- Good organizational, time management, and communication skillsThrives in a fast-paced company environment
- Able to multitask proficiently and can switch gears, as needed
- Proficiency with Salesforce is a major plus
