This position is a technical program manager role.

• Manages and leads a release program involving multiple functions and project teams to align the engineering development and implementation process for a set of Server product releases. Partner with HPE Servers & Options and Software-Defined and Cloud Group R&D and value chain teams (NPI, PE, Launch, Marketing, Quality & Product Lifecycle Management).
• Work with Marketing and Engineering to formulate, communicate and maintain the Snap Release Roadmap.
• Develops and directs schedules, including assisting teams with recovery planning for the collective release. Find compromises while maintaining the overall integrity of the Snap plan.
• Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
• Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to R&D and business leaders (Directors, VPs, GMs); Collaborates with the extended team, management and potentially development partners to recommend and implement plan changes as required.
• Leads and provides guidance and process mentoring to the extended organization members.
• Look for continuous improvement opportunities to save time or effort in the Snap Mgmt team or across HPE server organizations.
• Must build and maintain strong relationships and connections in the organization to be successful in this role. Be empathic and supportive, but also strong when needed.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
• PMP/PMI certification preferred
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Extensive experience with HPE Servers Product Development Process and managing complex engineering programs.
• Familiarity with HPE Servers and options products highly desired. Prior experience in the organization as a credible leader is vital.
• Must build and maintain strong relationships and connections in the organization to be successful in this role. Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - using quantitative and qualitative data. Must be able to investigate situations to determine relevant facts.
• Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English is a must.
• Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels. Includes written and verbal communication through email, personal contact and Power Point reports. Ability to create clear and concise reporting is a must.
• Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.
