Job Title: Financial/RPA Analyst Intern
Location: Dayton, Ohio

Reports To: Information Systems Applications Manager

The Financial Analyst Intern will be assisting with recurring financial functions of the Corporate Information Systems department including ad hoc analysis, fixed asset accounting, project accounting, and calculating cost-sharing allocations. The Financial Analyst Intern will also be expected to play a supporting role in preparing the department’s annual budget.
This position will begin as a work from home position with the expectation that it will transition to Trimble’s Huber Heights office as the pandemic environment allows.
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
  • Good communication skills and ability to think analytically.
  • Understanding of general accounting and finance principles
  • Ability to interpret financial information
  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance (Graduate or in final year of studies)
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured work environment
  • Availability to work 30+ hours per week (Full time available)
Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform various financial analysis for IS management
  • Support capital accounting for department projects
  • Development of RPA Bots
  • Assist in the annual budget cycle including forecasted spending and cost allocations
  • Aid in month-end close for IS department, which may include reviewing GL activity, creating reclass journal entries as needed, reviewing financial results, and providing summary of results to IS management.
