We’re looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join Snap! Your role will be aligned to the Scaled Sales channel, which focuses on servicing small and medium businesses at scale. As a leader on the Sales Operations team, you will partner directly with Scaled Sales leadership to supercharge the base of active customers through setting strategic direction and executing growth initiatives. Working from our Santa Monica office, you’ll collaborate with Sales, CRM Engineering, Marketing, Product and Sales Finance to identify areas of market opportunity, craft plans to capture those opportunities and reinforce the operational backbone of the Scaled Sales channel.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as a trusted thought-partner and operational executor for Sales leadership
- Identify input and output metrics to use in optimizing team operations and evaluating progress
- Continuously shape and articulate the Scaled channels’ strategy for target customer segmentation, multi-channel contact/ outreach, and lead acquisition/ nurturing treatment
- Support Sales Engineers/ Analysts in their duties to iterate and optimize Lead management
- Help find and prioritize the right opportunities, align team structure to those opportunities and effectively manage channel conflict
- Run ongoing processes to plan and prioritize commercial tactics in pursuit of business objectives
- Identify sales education, development and tooling needs and work cross functionally to address
- Help drive alignment within the Scaled Sales team and between Scaled and other Sales channels
- Assist in crafting data-driven resourcing strategies for the Scaled Sales organization
- Lead complex discussions to influence stakeholders and effectively manage disagreement while resolving escalations or roadblocks independently and effectively
- Actively strengthen the capabilities of the broader Sales Ops team’s infrastructure and people
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience as an operations professional with a background in SMB, Inside Sales or SDR
- Command of the Lead funnel, including a clear understanding of marketing channels, metrics to track progress, levers to optimize, and marketing/ sales qualification processes.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM and customization
- Ability to gather needs, analyze existing practices, recommend improvements and implement new processes that uplevel the Scaled Sales organization
- Commitment to strengthening Scaled Sales processes with knowledge, creativity and empathy
- Strong project management experience, with an ability to evaluate and re-prioritize rapidly and deliver results against aggressive deadlines in close coordination with other stakeholders
- Exposure to the digital advertising industry, including key players and trends
Minimum qualifications:
- 8+ years working in Sales Operations, Sales, Management Consulting or other similar functions
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, marketing or related field
- Fluency with operational data, including CAC, LTV, ROI and conversion ratio calculations
- Certification or practical experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Einstein Analytics)
- Track record of building strong relationships with Sales Teams and cross-functional teams using a collaborative mindset and a focus on providing positive impact
- Involvement in launching and driving adoption for org-wide changes to operational processes
- Proven ability to manage discussions across multiple stakeholders with different points of view and influence executives or team members to adopt recommendations or shift behaviors
- Best-in-class verbal and written communication skills that synthesize and structure complex topics and tailor them to a wide array of audiences
- Aptitude for exercising strong business judgement, at times while facing ambiguity and a highly-dynamic environment
- Talent for coaching or managing individuals (directly or indirectly)
- Mindset to approach problems analytically, with structure and strong project management
- Experience working in the technology, media and advertising space, specifically across digital/ mobile as well as different geographic markets
