Job Summary:

Operations Support job role performs support for operational activities performed within local operations which perform field services, ensuring local teams have the necessary (human) resources, training, processes, tools and systems to carry out their activities with the adequate level of performance.

This job role is responsible for the following activities:

  • Overall Operation Support System solution architecture, design, integration and management for all Ericsson tools and solution, MSDP or locally hosted tool.
  • Define a best in class service for Manage Service tools for seamless integration with existing networks and systems, with little interruption to the business.
  • Ensure that new tools and integration are compliance and compatible to support AS-IS design and expandable for future upgrade/expansion.
  • Act as a design authority for the technical team and perform solution holistic review for customer engagement.
  • Share best practices and become point of Tool consultation for team and Organization.
  • Champion and Subject Matter Expert of Ericsson Operation Engine (EOE) concept and plan implementation.
  • Drive Tools and Process automation initiative for Continuous Improvement and Value for Money for Ericsson and Customer.

Job Requirement:

  • Degree in IT or Engineering discipline.
  • 10 years of relevant OSS/BSS technology in Telco or IT environment.
  • Expertise in OSS/BSS business processes, frameworks and methodology, technical platform, applications and software.
  • Hands-on skill of OSS/BSS management system design, development & administration, also with deep understanding of software development life cycle management eg. Waterfall or Agile is an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading a technical assessment and developing a roadmap to migrate any OSS/BSS Solutioning.
  • Must have experience successfully leading complex technical engagements and teams, throughout the entire project lifecycle, with team sizes ranging from 4-10+ resources.
  • Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources, department Capex and Opex planning & expenditure.
  • Excellent and pleasant interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience.
  • Proven experience effectively prioritising workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
  • Drive, internal and external stakeholder’s management and results oriented.
