The Udemy Marketing team is focused on finding, growing and engaging users in pursuit of creating a next-gen learning environment for the workplace. To drive and grow user acquisition in 2019 and beyond, we’re looking for a Partner Development Account Management to join our partner development team, in the marketing organization in San Francisco. In this role you will be responsible for managing, developing and growing our partner and affiliate programs across Europe. As the lead partner development manager in Europe, you’d be expected to foster and grow the relationships with our existing leading partners and develop those into a highly performing, partner portfolio. In your capacity as an account manager, you’d also be responsible for the day to day account management, support and operations, work closely with cross-functional teams, including brand, legal and opps, and help support the Business Development team. In this role you’d also be expected to identify, prospect and onboard new partners and affiliates, directly or by leveraging our affiliate network partnerships, in the larger European markets. As you evolve in your role, you will become the subject matter expert on partner and affiliate development in your geo, facilitate the day to day ops, manage budgets and help optimize performance and growth in the partnership channel. To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable with a matrix organization, have a willingness to learn, be creative and proactive, able to work in an ambiguous environment and iterate quickly. You must love working and developing great relationships with partners, be extremely responsive, great in following up and even relentless when necessary. Here is what you will be doing:
- Drive business growth with existing partners through excellent partner development and account management, across all geos
- Oversee operational tasks related to the day to day partner and affiliate accounts’ management, including corresponding and communicating with partners and networks reps
- Responsible for driving growth through negotiating, setting up, launching and managing promotional campaigns with leading partners, tracking, reporting on KPIs and optimizing performance
- Coordinate and work closely with cross-functional teams to align on initiatives and effectively streamline the channel’s day to day operations
- Facilitate and ensure excellent support for the larger partner development team and other stakeholders
We’re excited about you because you will have:
- 5+ years of experience in account management, partner marketing, preferably affiliate marketing and partner development facing clients
- Experienced and knowledgable in digital D2C marketing and or, demand generation or other channel marketing
- Ideally, experienced in startup companies (entrepreneurial skills)
- Strong relationship management skills, to foster, manage, and grow partnerships
- Ability to work autonomously and manage cross-functional projects
