Abbott Molecular Division is looking for a

Senior Financial Analyst (m/f/d)

based in Wiesbaden.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial forecasting and budgeting processes (monthly and quarterly forecasts) including analysis of performance and commentary preparation
  • Monthly actual reporting including in-depth variance analysis of actual results vs. benchmarks
  • Communication with countries to understand trends, variances and key risks / opportunities
  • Preparation of ad hoc analyses to support management business decisions
  • Develop efficient tools based on management demand that support the business and improve current forecasting and reporting processes
  • Act as a consultant to Area Management and internal stakeholders to provide financial advice

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance/Accounting. Preferably MBA or Qualified Accountant
  • Three years financial experience beyond university degree
  • Knowledge of and experience with various financial forecasting and reporting systems (TM1, HFM, SAP)
  • Strong team player and business partner attitude to work with the countries
  • Demonstration of initiative, innovative thinking, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High result and process improvement orientation.
  • Adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
  • Good communications skills both verbal and written
  • Customer oriented mindset
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge. Database knowledge preferred.
  • Fluent in English, another European language is a plus
