Job Description
Responsibilities: Participate in and build-release activities for software on AWS platforms. Implement containerized deployment solutions to APIs and web applications on cloud platform. Implement cloud monitoring and alerting and solutions for detecting issues and identifying root cause. Setup and maintain DevOps tools and pipelines for CI/CD. Implement solutions for system performance and scaling using latest technologies. Diagnose and troubleshoot core infrastructure issues on cloud platform.
Basic Qualifications: ⁃ Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. ⁃ 5+ years in SW engineering or DevOps functions. ⁃ Solid experience in any of the leading cloud platform, preferably AWS. ⁃ Excellent programming and scripting fundamentals (C/C++, Node, Go, Python) ⁃ Hands on experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket etc. ⁃ Solid troubleshooting skills (e.g. finding a root-cause of Jenkins build failure) ⁃ Experience using Docker, Kubernetes or any other container-orchestration technologies. ⁃ Working experience with leading source code control systems (Git, GitLab, BitBucket) ⁃ Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications : ⁃ Ability and experience to design and build DevOps solutions for frontend and backend applications in (running on mac/linux) ⁃ Ability to build quick POCs solve existing problems or improve the system performance. ⁃ Familiarity with micro services architecture and ability to build scalable solutions from systems standpoint. ⁃ Good understanding of cloud best practices and security guidelines. ⁃ Experience in building monitoring dashboards showing key performance indicators. ⁃ Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
