The Global Payments team is responsible for designing and building eBay's first ever payments platform. We aspire to enable exemplary customer experiences, where our buyers and sellers can come together and engage in commerce on the biggest marketplace in the world.

We are searching for a highly motivated individual to join our business operations team. In this role you will be responsible for designing and driving cross-functional strategic initiatives that help the organization launch and scale managed payments across all of our markets. You are an impeccable communicator, self-starter, strategic thinker and problem solver. Primary job responsibilities:

· Develop and execute a communications strategy with consistent communication to all levels of the organization, including All Hands, Town Halls, company-wide speaking events, email communications, etc. for the Payments organization, as well as our functional divisions

· Establish a channel strategy that maximizes the use of existing channels, while also exploring new written, visual, video and audio channels

· Generate a monthly communications calendar that identifies all upcoming events and activities for key stakeholders

· Create a social media strategy to build the presence of key leaders in Payments in support of eBay and our efforts to evolve the buying/selling experience

· Build education campaigns designed to help the Payments team understand how to use communication channels to extend our reach and further tell the eBay Payments story

· Craft presentations for Payments leaders speaking at external conferences

· Create a dashboard that provides status updates on hiring, retention and location status of all Payments team members.

· Engage with the recruiting team to ensure that we are hiring with urgency, while maintaining high standards for new talent

· Partner with senior leaders across the organization to ensure that they have the resources they need to execute hiring rapidly.

· Support business operations team on projects key to the success of Payments at eBay

Job Requirements

· BA/BS Required

· 5-8 years of experience in communications, business operations and/or program/project management

· Impeccable written and verbal communications with extensive experiences in slide creation, video design and creative design

· Ability to process complicated and diverse sets of information in order to provide summary-level insights and recommendations

· Creative and thrives in a fast-paced environment

· Confidence and willingness to take ownership over projects

· Great organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills

· Demonstrates excellence in everyday execution

· Effective, versatile and willing to take action

· Phenomenal organizational and influencing skills
