Job summary
We are now looking for a Test Manager that will lead the testing team, which includes preparing to handle the testing budget, timeline, scope, risk management and customer acceptance of the solution delivered, based on the successful execution of the strategy and test plan.
As a Test Manager, you are expected to lead the definition and implementation of test strategy, test plans, and Test Object List that will lead to the customer’s solution acceptance.
Responsibilities include:
As a Test Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for managing testing resources, planning of test deliveries and managing the test execution phase. You will have to plan, delegate, and manage, day to day testbed activities and manage all test resources working in the testbed. Your role will be essential in defining Test Strategies for New Major Software Releases and new Hardware Introduction, conduct the testing environment feasibility study on Network Impact Reports, and use the inputs for defining test strategy and Test Plan and the development of the strategy adopted for automated testing.
You will develop a relationship with the customer, and negotiate and agree on test scope and test plan, prepare and manage test activities on day to day basis, providing support as and when necessary and participate in customer meetings for test progress review. Handle test Metrics/SLA Tracking including presenting to the customer and deliver Reports, for Final Delivery to the customer for each Test Phase will also be part of the role.
Identify and drive improvements of the current processes, jointly plan testing resource requirements based on project plans, and lead the recruitment of resources when needed.
