Saint Anne Center, part of Ascension Living, is looking for a caring and compassionate Environmental Services Assoicate to join the team! Conveniently located in a vibrant Rockford area, close to public transportation, this 179-bed community offers short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care. Opened in 1986, Saint Anne Center was Rockford’s first Catholic nursing home, whose legacy as a cornerstone of compassionate care continues today.
Full-time Environmental Services Associate Opening
.76 FTE (38 hours per week)

Schedule will include hours every other weekend and some holidays

What You Will Do

As an Environmental Services Assoicate with Ascension Living, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of environmental services to maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities:

• Cleans patient rooms or other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Maintains quality standards through the use of standard cleaning procedures and protocols including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash and medical waste removal while following patient isolation or other special situations in accordance with facility standards.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary or designated.
• Maintains supplies and/or equipment in clean, and working condition.

What You Will Need

Required Credentials

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education/Experience

• Previous EVS or Housekeeping experience in healthcare
