Inventory Control Specialist I

Job Description

Rackspace is looking for a detail oriented Accounting, Finance or MIS student to assist the Financial Systems group in production support, system setups, and system related projects.

In a typical day, you will:

• Perform chart of accounts setups in Oracle
• Perform ongoing maintenance of Hyperion audit and error logs
• Perform updates of team’s internal website
• Maintain Hyperion and Blackline access (provisioning or removing access)
• Maintain PBC listings in Blackline
• Assist users with production support items for Oracle, Hyperion, Blackline, and other systems used by the CFO group
• Assist team members with documentation of processes and procedures
• Assist with UAT for system configuration changes and new functionality
• Assist team members with projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability interpret data and analyze results
• Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets (turn data into information that can be used to drive business decisions)
• Willingness to learn data analysis and reporting tools
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Passionate about learning and growth opportunities
• Knowledge of accounting and finance processes and terminology

Rockstar Qualifications:

• Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas and macros
• Previous exposure to accounting and finance systems
• Basic knowledge of SQL
