The RWS technology platforms & Data mission it to deliver world class and globally scalable technology platforms and analytics applied to complex and large scale clinical datasets, to support IQVIA’s ongoing and rapid growth in RWS, as well as the development of new product lines - this requires global leadership across technical and data architecture, software development and data visualization, privacy management, analytical methods, data science, machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) - building upon 100s of novel technologies and methods either published in peer reviewed journals or patented by our team.

The solutions are delivered to a variety of clients across life-science, government, payor or provider organizations. The business unit also curates the largest collection of de-identified Real-World Data in the world, from different patient care settings in 18 countries worldwide – the RWES Tech CoE is at the forefront of “Big Data” in healthcare. Through its mission and skills, the RWES is transforming the way clients create new insights and deliver improved healthcare research and patient outcomes.


Overview of the role

The candidate would join a high profile and talented team, and act as product management lead for IQVIA Real World Solutions Technology Platforms and Data Assets. Example leading products in our portfolio include IQVIA’s world leading Evidence 360TM analytics platform, predictive analytics including machine learning algorithms applied to clinical decision support, privacy analytics de-identification platform as well as award winner NLP platform Linguamatics. The enhancement and extensions of these products is one of IQVIA’s key initiatives within its Real-World Solutions, and will involve significant exposure to senior business unit leaders and senior clients.

The candidate would be responsible for driving the product positioning and sales enablement across the technology portfolio including market intelligence, product positioning, product launches, product portfolio positioning, Sales team enablement & development of sales support tools, generating and defining and driving marketing as well as organizing, supporting digital lead generation. The candidate would also contribute to the overall RWS marketing strategy, and sales and account planning strategies.

In order to work across silos, the exceptional candidate would report into the Head of Real World Data Assets and work directly with IQVIA’s overall RWS technology head and RWS VPs or directors owning different product lines and software engineering cells in any Business Unit of interest, as well as sales & principals across global RWS and the local business units. As part of this process, the candidate would also work closely with the software engineering team to define future product roadmap based on client feedback.

The ideal candidate has a passionate interest in health care data and their applications in analytics products. He/she should be extremely comfortable in engaging with technical teams including software engineers or statisticians. The candidate would also need to have experience in developing or commercializing analytics applications in healthcare and life-science. International experience is highly beneficial, but not essential.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Market intelligence – articulate buyer personas and customized value propositions for main personas, develop deep insights on other market offerings and their unique selling points
  • Product positioning – develop messaging to differentiate RWS technology offerings from other market offerings, and from custom services based approaches
  • Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases, working with product managers and software teams to articulate features and new releases
  • Portfolio positioning – articulate the overall positioning of technology & AIML products within the overall RWS portfolio including data & services
  • Sales enablement & support– communicate the value proposition of the products sales team, and develop & maintain the sales tools supporting the selling process
  • Lead Generation via digital channels:
    • design and build product sites (web, user wiki’s) and lever tools for customer engagement (e.g., CRM knowledge, automation systems, analytics, email marketing).
    • Coordinate content and organise virtual workshops and webinars both for external and internal audience
  • Campaign execution – work with RWS’ overall marketing and customer campaigns team to define & execute targeted programs to drive demand for products

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • 5+ years of software product commercialization experience, with at least 2 years experience in a field facing role
  • Qualification leading product management framework, and experience in it application (e.g. Pragmatic, 280Group, SVGP)
  • Bachelor’s in business or marketing
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Willing to travel

Skills and knowledge
  • Excellent understanding of sales and buying process in technology including engagement of business and information technology stakeholders
  • Experience selling and supporting off-the-shelf and custom health-care technology solutions, especially related to outcomes research and clinical trials
  • Understanding of technology, especially related to healthcare data and analytics / data science
  • Experience of digital marketing - CRM knowledge, automation systems, analytics, email marketing
  • Proven hands-on leadership in at least one innovative technology area relevant to healthcare
  • Commercial awareness and good understanding of the health care, health technology and pharmaceutical industry, gained through experience
  • Understanding of and interest in the international health care environment
