Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking strong EDIFECS Technical Consultants to work in Nashville, TN or Chesterfield, MO. Consultant will be part of a team that will be doing development and configuration work with EDFICES. Resource will be responsible but not limited to the following:Location: Teaneck, NJ, primary but open to multiple location across the US. Travel and relocation on case by case.Responsibilities:Create/update maps, guidelines and profiles using Edifecs tools such as EDIFECS SpecBuilder, Map Builder, EAM as per functional logic.Create maps and guidelines (xml, DFF, PFF) for Healthcare EDI transactions like 837, 834, 835 transactions.Work with the Business team on the requirements change and accommodate the changes into the design.Responsible for any configuration changes in XEngine configuration files for any TP specific validation.Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the transmissions in Transaction manager.Configure Severity files to perform custom error validation.Coordinate with other application teams and provide needed support to QA team.Provide Knowledge Transfer and design walkthrough to the production support team for each release.Mandatory Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience, which must include Edifecs Healthcare suite.Excellent understanding of technical and business challenges relating to EDI product upgrades.Able to configure the Edifecs tools, and understand systems integration, application, technical behavior, and business / technical requirements.Experience with Edifecs Healthcare suite, 8.3x, 9.x, and Healthcare Payer systems.Experience with XEngine, XEngine Server, EAM, TM.Detailed understanding of EDI Healthcare transaction sets e.g. 270/271, 834, 837 I/P/D, 835.Knowledge of software development / implementation processes.Able to explain technical solutions and fixes to stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.Candidate's that have completed a Master s degree program strongly preferredCognizant Technology Solutions will not be able to provide sponsorship for this role now or in the future.
