Atlassian is continuing to hire for all open roles with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices. JOB DUTIES: RESPONSIBLE FOR FINANCIAL ANALYSIS, ADJUSTMENT AND RESTRUCTURING OF CHANGES TO REVENUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. SUPPORT OPERATIONAL FINANCIAL CLOSE PROCESSES AND IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES TO AUTOMATE AND OPTIMIZE THE CLOSE CYCLE FROM SYSTEMS’ STANDPOINT. RUN SYSTEMS CONFIGURATIONS OF ATLASSIAN’S ADVANCED/CORE SYSTEMS INCLUDING REVENUE MANAGEMENT/GL AND DOCUMENT EXISTING SYSTEMS GAPS. SERVE AS A SUBJECT-MATTER-EXPERT IN RECORD-TO-REPORT AND MORE SPECIFICALLY REVENUE MANAGEMENT CONCEPTS AND BROADER Q2C/ERP CAPABILITIES. ENSURE THAT THE BUSINESS STRUCTURE MEETS TOP OUTPUT EFFICIENCY. IDENTIFY AND ADDRESS CURRENT AND FUTURE BUSINESS NEEDS WITHIN THE REALMS OF CURRENTLY ACCESSIBLE RESOURCES. WORK CLOSELY WITH TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING AND COMPLIANCE TEAMS AT ALL LEVELS TO ASSESS MOST EFFICIENT MANNER RELATED TO THE FINANCIAL AND ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS AT ATLASSIAN. ASSIST TEAM WITH OPTIMIZING SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES THAT DRIVE ATLASSIAN FROM ORDER TO CASH, PURCHASING, TALENT MANAGEMENT AND RECRUITING. PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS TO RESOLVE GAPS. WORK WITH DEVELOPMENT TEAM TO DELIVER DESIRED RESULTS. BUILD EFFICIENT SYSTEMS AND TOOLS THAT ENABLE ATLASSIAN’S FINANCE TEAM TO MAKE INFORMED, DATA-DRIVEN DECISIONS. SERVE AS THE RESIDENT EXPERT RELATED TO REVENUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. MANAGE SYSTEMS CONFIGURATIONS FOR CORE FINANCIAL APPLICATIONS AND ENSURE DEPLOYMENTS ARE SUCCESSFUL AND MEETS USER REQUIREMENTS. ENSURE SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS ARE IN ACCORDANCE TO ITGC CONTROLS. PARTNER CLOSELY WITH FINANCE STAKEHOLDERS TO ANALYZE CURRENT SYSTEM GAPS AND WORK WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL TEAMS TO ENSURE SOLUTIONS ARE IMPLEMENTED. UTILIZE KEY FINANCIAL BUSINESS PROCESSES (QUOTE TO CASH, BILLING, REVENUE MANAGEMENT AND RECOGNITION, ETC.) TO TRANSLATE COMPLEX PROCESSES INTO TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: MASTER’S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, BUSINESS OR FINANCE-RELATED FIELD PLUS TWO (2) YEARS BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST EXPERIENCE WITH TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING PROCESSES BASED ON ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE PRINCIPLES INCLUDING EXPERIENCE WITH ERP PLATFORMS (NETSUITE, ORACLE, WORKDAY, ETC.) AND/OR OFF-THE-SHELF SYSTEMS LIKE REVPRO, NETSUITE, ADVANCED REVENUE MANAGER. ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS: BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, BUSINESS OR FINANCE-RELATED FIELD PLUS FIVE (5) YEARS PROGRESSIVE BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST EXPERIENCE WITH TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING PROCESSES BASED ON ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE PRINCIPLES INCLUDING EXPERIENCE WITH ERP PLATFORMS (NETSUITE, ORACLE, WORKDAY, ETC.) AND/OR OFF-THE-SHELF SYSTEMS LIKE REVPRO, NETSUITE, ADVANCED REVENUE MANAGER.
