Account Executive – Kentucky DO WORK THAT MATTERS

As we embark on this exciting journey, Cardiometabolic and Informatics Business Unit (CM&IBU) of the Rapid Diagnostic Division has an exciting new opportunity for a talented Sales professional to join our team as an Account Executive, Kentucky. In this opportunity, the AE will be responsible for managing ARDx’s Cardiometabolic (CM) product portfolio for the territory. Target markets will include physician offices, hospital accounts, corporate wellness, and IDNs, with a focus on diagnostic testing in Cardiology and Diabetes. One will effectively work in a team environment with our Technical Consultants (TCs) and Strategic Business Executives (SBEs) and be expected to achieve sales objectives and develop and maintain relationships with our distributors, end users while working well independently to uncover unmet market need.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve Sales Objectives in the CM Product Portfolio

  • Build strong and competitive product knowledge
  • Contribute to the region’s sales growth within the first 60 days
  • Manage complex sales, including involvement with IDN’s
  • Account training and technical support
  • Ongoing training and development with all distribution partners

Establish relationships

  • Distributor Partners
  • End User Customers
  • CM Strategic Business Executives
  • IDN/GPO Partners
  • Internal ARDx resources and support functions
  • Examine the dynamics of our end users as it relates to market conditions
  • Identify and build relationships with the key decision makers
  • Understand the decision-making process within each account
  • Being knowledgeable about explaining reimbursement
  • Strengthen our position with our “best in class” support and service

Effective Time and Territory Management

  • Implement Pre-call planning to maximize sales opportunities
  • Territory Profiling
  • Define business model of the top 20 accounts
  • Proficient use of Salesforce.com
  • Build a comprehensive territory business plan and report out progress in regular business reviews with management
  • Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities with corporate programs and initiatives
  • Utilize Power BI and utilizes Reports Effectively
  • Uncover sales opportunities
  • Trend and risk analysis
  • Identifying and positively impacting top 20 customers by product category
  • Identifying and positively impacting top 10 declining accounts by product category

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree, plus 3-5+ years of relevant sales experience with a combination of the following:
    • Complex sales experience in POC or clinical setting
    • Capital sales experience
    • Direct & Distributor sales experience
  • Proven track record in sales success (President’s Club, stack rankings, YOY growth)
  • CRM experience (daily data entry of accounts, leads, etc, run reports and effective account planning management)
  • Formalized sales training; Strategic Selling or Other
  • Strong negotiation skills & proven contract negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and forecasting accuracy
  • Travel 25-50% of time including overnights, car and air travel within the respective territory
  • A valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Must meet vendor credentialing requirements; ability to work in physician and hospital settings
