We are looking for an experienced Community and Content Leader. In this role, you will build and engage a dynamic user community, and lead the creation of content that powers every part of our customer journey. Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute against a vision for creating a world-class community
  • Develop new programs to drive evangelism, engagement and expertise across our user base
  • Measure and drive rapid expansion of our community, exceeding our core business growth rates
  • Partner with Snowflake’s Chief Storyteller to develop a content strategy that meets both near-term needs and long-term positioning objectives
  • Build a scaled content engine that effectively serves a number of internal stakeholders (demand gen, ABM, sales) while maintaining an extremely high quality bar
  • Manage within a budget to expand our network of external content writers, editors, and designers to deliver against growing content needs
  • Work across the entire marketing organization to ensure our content and community initiatives have the maximum impact on our marketing objectives
  • Hire, develop, and retain extraordinary talent
  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Oversee community and content toolset, including Salesforce Community, Bevy, Kapost, etc.

What you'll need:

  • 15+ years of experience in community building and/or content marketing
  • Experience developing large-scale, passionate user communities
  • Education, training, or work experience in content development or marketing communications
  • Experience working with a content management platform, such as Kapost
  • Strong program management and collaboration skills with internal team members and external community (advocates, customers & partners)
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, a strong sense of initiative, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure, while juggling and meeting multiple deadlines
  • Experience leading high-performance teams
  • A good sense of humor and passion about your work
  • BS/BA preferred
