Sr. Product Manager, Vehicle Managment

Job Description

The Digital Commerce Team is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the digital experience outside the vehicle (e.g. vehicle configurator, payment gateway, vehicle delivery management, service scheduling) across web, mobile app and in-store. To that end, we are developing a world-class commerce platform that will make learning about and purchasing electric adventure vehicles intuitive, seamless and fun. We’re looking for a product manager who can help define the roadmap of features for controlling our vehicles remotely via the Rivian mobile app. THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Understand the needs of drivers and how their problems can be solved using a mobile application - Develop a roadmap and work with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, including other product mangers who will have requirements for the mobile app to support their customer journeys - Work with engineers to enable the features in native iOS and Android operating systems. - Work with Product, Engineering and Commerce leadership to make buy vs build decisions THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL NEED: - 5+ years of strong product management experience, ideally with mobile app development experience - A background in working with development teams through periods of rapid growth and scale, understanding the big picture and the importance of investing in the core technical foundation THIS IS WHERE YOU’LL WORK: Department: Digital Commerce Location: Palo Alto, CA RIVIAN DESCRIPTION: We Are Rivian Rivian is building a new kind of car company.
