What You Will Do

As an Associate with Saint Thomas Health Svcs-TN, you will have the opportunity to provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
• Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
• Repackages bulk medications.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies.
• Serves as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

What You Will Need

• Required Credential(s):
• Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
• One or more of the following:
• Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcare Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
• Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.

• Diploma
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required

• None required.
