Avionics Field Service Engineer (Customs/Border Protection)

Job Description **Position is contingent upon contract award**
The selected candidate will provide technical support in all areas of avionics and tactical sensors, to include on-site field support. Possess a working knowledge of basic air-to-air and air-to-surface radar systems and an extensive working knowledge of airborne communication systems. Will also produce and present technically oriented training documents.
Knowledge, skills, and ability include, but not limited to the following systems and support:
1. APG-66V5 Intercept RADAR
2. ARC 210, ARC 182 UHF/VHF communications systems
3. ARC-210, RT-1824(c) SATCOM, HQ, and UHF/VHF integration
4. COTHEN,Cellular over the Horizon Enforcement Network
5. EMS SATCOM High Speed Data, 400 Systems (installation and navigation)
6. FMU-900, CMC Flight Management/Navigation Systems
7. Raytheon SeaVue technical support
8. Selex 7500E Seaspray RADAR technical support
9. ADS-B
10. TWR-850 Rockwell Turbulence, Weather RADAR
11. WESCAM – AIMS 22
12. Automatic Identification System (AIS)
13. Auto Direction Finder ADF-462
14. Avalex 8200 series DVR’s
15. Flexcom II System
16. Litton-100
17. Star Safire Series EO/IR Systems
18. WESCAM MX15 Series EO/IR Systems
19. 60 Hertz Power Converters
20. Minotaur
21. Digital Receiver Technology
22. Adaptive Flight Display (AFS-3700)

This position is located in Conroe TX. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Conroe or surrounding areas.
Required Skills and Education High School diploma and at least 8 years of related avionics experience
Military or equivalent civilian electronics training
Active security clearance and ability to maintain
