In this role you will establish, enhance and monitor controls supporting the security, governance, risk and compliance objectives for our internal IT systems and the Zoom service. Responsibilities will include assisting our internal business partners to develop and manage effective controls aligned with NIST CSF / NIST-800, FedRAMP, HiTRUST / HIPPA, ISO27k, TRUSTe, PCI and other relevant standards. You will closely collaborate with many other teams within Zoom as well as customers, vendor partners, auditors, regulators and other stakeholders. In addition to strong communications skills, you will need to have deep technical skills with PC, Mac and Linux platforms and experience implementing techniques and procedures to maintain and enhance the security and compliance posture of Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Implements, enhances and manages security technologies, techniques and procedures that support the mission to identify and protect Zoom IT assets, detect security incidents, and rapidly respond and recover.
• Documents security tools and systems, trains Security Operations staff on tool use, and supports the day to day SecOps staff in the security mission.
• Identifies and manages security and compliance risks, documents exceptions in risk register, recommends mitigating and corrective measures and drives plan of action and milestones (POAMs) to completion.
• Participates in IT and Ops change management risk assessment, review and approval.
• Develops and publishes metrics and dashboards demonstrating security posture, incident and event activity.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person as required by Zoom government clients
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to San Jose, CA or Denver, CO areas; this is not a “remote” role.
• 5 or more years experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years experience specifically in an enterprise security role.
• Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or equivalent; or an additional 4 years of relevant IT experience.
• Demonstrate advanced technical knowledge and experience in data, application, systems and network security concepts and the tools used to identify and protect IT assets, detect security events, and respond and recover from security incidents.
• Knowledge and skills managing security of PC, Mac and Linux platforms in a physical, virtual or public cloud environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate with peers, and to present and explain highly technical information to stakeholders who may have limited technical knowledge.
• Prior experience analyzing requirements and implementing controls aligned with NIST-800, FedRAMP, HiTRUST, ISO27k, TRUSTe, PCI standards is highly desirable.
• Must be available for occasional after-hours tasks.
