Full-Time Day or Rotating (Three 12-hour shifts)

This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team environment, while having work-life balance and gaining or improving your Surgical skill sets. Our wonderful Women's Health team consists of 14 OB/GYN PAs.

What You Will Do:

Provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.

Responsibilities:

• Manages the in-patient care of post-op OB and GYN patients, including ordering tests and treatments
• Managing acute and chronic in patient problems for OB and GYN patients
• Evaluating newly admitted patients to the OB/GYN service, including completing histories and physicals and writing admission orders.
• Assisting physicians with routine and advanced OB and GYN procedures, including robotic procedures and gyn oncology procedures

What You Will Need:

• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• Graduate of NCCPA certified Physician Assistant program.
• One year PA experience strongly preferred; surgical experience in a Hospital setting preferred.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
