As a User Researcher / Sr. User Researcher on the team, you will have the opportunity to help define the product user experience that matches clients with premier talent. You will deeply affect products and features that help millions of users collaborate with distributed teams. You won’t have to pitch the value of research to the teams you work with, or leadership. You will be empowered by a strong user centered design culture with a great research to design ratio. You will be mentored and supported by highly motivated, experienced researchers, as well as a research ops manager.

Your Responsibilities:

• Have broad impact across the entire product suite.
• Study our diverse global user-base, designing studies to test designs remotely and in different cultural contexts.
• Employ a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
• Develop and refine our understanding of key user personas.
• Generate insights that are fuel for our next wave of great product innovations.
• Work with our top notch team of Product Managers and UX Designers to identify and execute on research opportunities.
• Communicate insights within the Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams in a format that inspires action.

What it takes to catch our eye:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a Product team.
• A track record of discovering, synthesizing, and socializing actionable insights that have influenced real products.
• Highly skilled in qualitative User Experience Research methods (e.g. contextual inquiry, usability testing, interviews, RITE).
• Experience working in fast-paced environments.
• Experience asking as well as answering questions for businesses.

How to really knock our socks off:

• Experience facilitating design thinking sessions and workshops.
• Experience working on a marketplace, growth or top of the funnel team
• Experience marrying qualitative with quantitative methodologies and/or usage data.
• Experience working with metrics and A/B tests.
