Who we are looking for We are looking for a dedicated and experienced team player to join the Klarna.com Experience team, where you will be responsible for directing and taking the UI design and art direction of the Klarna.com website to new heights. You are super passionate about UI design as well as the actual user experience and journey. You love backing your design with research and testing to ensure the best possible quality. You are an all-rounder who also have experience with visual design and art direction. You pride yourself in being proactive, and can set up processes and you pay great attention to detail which shines through in your pixel perfect designs. What you will do You will be designing predominantly for the Klarna.com website as well as for projects creating landing pages for campaigns. Conceptualize innovative design ideas, and pitch them to stakeholders in an engaging and convincing manner. You will take responsibility for the quality and execution of design throughout all phases of a project. You will also lead and support other designers and creatives in projects into original and yet solid, functional creative solutions, collaborating with designers, developers, UX and SEO writers to challenge and create the most compelling and successful design possible. Create designs in line with best practises for search engine optimization. You will together with the team, best practice advocate within web to support the vision of other teams and make it come true. Generate design specification documents to be implemented by developers. You will also facilitate feedback with a positive attitude while ensuring relevant feedback is captured, properly validated, and implemented

You should have

• Experience in conversion rate optimization using A/B tests and analytics
• 7+ years experience in UI/digital design and art direction
• A passion for creating effective design solutions and challenge the status quo of UI design
• Apply mobile-first thinking to the design process
• A forward leaning attitude. You go above and beyond to deliver the best ideas and designs, as well as refining those of others. You love to get your hands dirty and translate high level strategy into well crafted execution
• Be fully fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Sketch, Figma
• Experience creating great landing pages that convert
• Experience in results driven design
• Articulation skills. You present concepts and solutions in an engaging manner to internal stakeholders
• A personality that embraces new challenges and you should inspire new ways of thinking
• Experience working with design and art direction for digital and UI that demonstrates exceptional creativity, conceptual thinking and attention to detail
• Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members
• Good collaboration skills, and enjoy working closely with others
• Relevant education in Design
• Exceptional English skills in written and oral communication
