Packet core (BDGS) develop and deliver packet core solution for mobile networks. With us at BDGS you’ll be part of the next step in development of our products. We enable millions of simultaneous connected mobile users while handling traffic from IoT to 4K video in Gbit speeds. BDGS will become the partner of choice of Telecom operators using the latest technologies in cloud and automation to manage complexity so the ambitious can differentiate with TCO (Total cost of ownership) efficient solutions for programmable 4G and 5G networks, automated operations and digital engagements.

We are currently looking for a Test Program Manager within PDG Mobility to deliver Cloud Native products to meet our new demands for flexible, fast, scalable, innovative 5G-networks.

The Test Program Manager will be responsible for test activities from function to system test for Ericsson’s new packet core products supporting 5G networks.

We stand at the forefront of Agile software development, using methods and principles from Lean, Agile and Scrum methodologies to create a product that excels. Early customer and stakeholder interaction are a key element in our development process. We rely on team collective responsibility to complete all tasks according to a prioritized backlog.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Program planning to secure the test execution for continuous releases
  • Secure that test activities are planned, coordinated, executed and visualized
  • Secure test environment for function and system test including tools for feature development
  • Create and document time and capability plans
  • Manage reports and necessary documentation
  • Analyze and manage risks
  • Proactive scenario planning
  • Visualize test progress for parts as function and system test
  • Managing and visualizing dependencies
  • Identify and implementing improvements
  • Communicate, coordinate and align with both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Experienced and good track record as project/program manager
  • Good understanding of the test execution and development
  • Result oriented with quality and customer focus
  • Very good skills in communication and in handling relations (Be able to communicate with stakeholders and other key persons)
  • Team player and good people skills
  • Excellent English skills in both writing and conversation
  • Be able to take decisions when needed
  • Drive commitments with high energy
  • Large degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks.
  • Experience working according to Lean and Agile way of working
